In some circumstances we have been able to produce a Phase 2 ground investigation report in one week. Usually they take three to four weeks to allow time for laboratory testing and mobilisation of drilling crews or excavators.
If there is a source of harmful ground gas at the site, regulations dictate that we must monitor the gases for four weeks if the development is commercial or twelve weeks if the development is residential as part of the soil investigation.
