John Curran,
Managing Director
A specialist remediation expert with extensive property and construction experience gained from managing several large construction projects across the UK through to property management for the MOD.
A Civil Engineer by profession, John established Soilutions Ltd in 2003. He takes responsibility for the overall management of the company from overseeing projects on a day-to-day basis to strategic planning.
John, recently retired Chairperson of the Scottish Contaminated Land Forum (SCLF) following 3 years leading the forum and board member of the Scottish Environmental Technology Network (SETN), is currently a member of the UKTI Environment and Water Sector Advisory Group, SEPA’s NetRegs Business Advisory Group and an active contributor to the investigation into and development of new technologies and is also a Chartered Member of the Institute of Builders and Environmentalist.
A passionate, though often wet windsurfer and also a sailing instructor in his spare time.
Max Fuller,
Environmental Director
Max brings considerable experience in the assessment and management of land contamination gained with large multinational consultancies over the years. His clients have included global petrochemical companies, UK regulators, local authorities, housing developers and the nuclear sector.
He joined Soilutions to continue providing robust and innovative solutions to projects, particularly for the assessment of risk. He’s also keen to develop purposeful relationships with existing clients and extol the strengths of the company to new ones.
Max enjoys working out how things work and repairing rather than replacing faulty goods and gadgets where possible. Whilst great at getting items apart, he finds they don’t always go back together again – but every success is a win! He also hums along to film scores when nobody is around to hear him.
