Luke joined Soilutions with a vast experience in contaminated land consulting, eager to get his teeth into project management and remediation site works.
Luke has worked as a geoenvironmental consultant on a range of projects for the public and private sectors as well as residential developments, and encountered all kinds of contamination and difficult ground conditions.
Major projects he has worked on include the construction of new fire stations in Lancashire and Lincolnshire, schools across the country and the treatment of coal workings beneath a 400-home development in West Yorkshire.
Having worked for structural and civil consultancies in the past, Luke brings geotechnical knowledge to Soilutions to provide appropriate foundation recommendations for clients.
As a keen cyclist Luke often rides in the opposite direction on his way to work just to get the miles in.
Sarah is beginning her career in geoenvironmental consultancy following completion of an MSc in Hydrogeology at Strathclyde University and Earth Science BSc(Hons) at Glasgow University. Sarah has applied her knowledge and understanding of geology, aquifer systems and groundwater modelling and management to her first graduate role as a geoenvironmental engineer at Soilutions.
Sarah has a range of experience spanning housing, retail and logistics. Recent projects include the extension of an Asda supermarket, several housing developments, change of use applications and a logistics centre.
A keen sailor, Sarah also fits her work life around being a member of the local lifeboat team.
Business Development Manager / Senior Environmental Consultant
Max brings considerable experience in the assessment and management of land contamination gained with large multinational consultancies over the years. His clients have included global petrochemical companies, UK regulators, local authorities, housing developers and the nuclear sector.
He joined Soilutions to continue providing robust and innovative solutions to projects, particularly for the assessment of risk. He’s also keen to develop purposeful relationships with existing clients and extol the strengths of the company to new ones.
Max enjoys working out how things work and repairing rather than replacing faulty goods and gadgets where possible. Whilst great at getting items apart, he finds they don’t always go back together again – but every success is a win! He also hums along to film scores when nobody is around to hear him.
