In some circumstances we have been able to produce a Phase 2 site investigation report in one week. Usually, they take three to four weeks to allow time for laboratory testing and mobilisation of drilling crews or excavators.
To accelerate timescales, we can supervise multiple investigation crews at a site. Soilutions will always aim to select investigation techniques that are appropriate for both the site data required and client timescales.
If there is a known or potential source of vapour or ground gas at the site, regulations dictate that as part of the soil investigation, must monitor the gases weekly for a month if the development is commercial or three months if the development is residential.
Where timescales are particularly tight, we may be able to expedite laboratory analysis turnaround and/or provide the client with an interim report detailing assessment findings prior to the collation of all site investigation data and subsequent analysis and reporting.
