John Curran, Managing Director
A specialist remediation contractor with extensive property and construction experience gained from managing several large construction projects across the UK through to property management for the MOD.
A Civil Engineer by profession, John established Soilutions Ltd. in 2003. He takes responsibility for the overall management of the company from overseeing projects on a day-to-day basis to strategic planning.

John, Chairperson of the Scottish Contaminated Land Forum, and board member of the Scottish Environmental Technologies Network is an active contributor to the investigation into and development of new technologies and is also a Chartered Member of the Institute of Builders and Environmentalist.
Prior to setting up on his own, John was Contracts Manager for a national waste management company where he established and managed a new department in Scotland specialising in contaminated land remediation. In this role John put to use the valuable insight and experience gained during his time as Property Manager for the Ministry of Defence and his Contracts Manager experience gained at Burnhead Contracts Ltd. Swift Scotland and John Doyle Construction.
Sam Lord, Operations Manager
Sam came to Soilutions with extensive experience of the contaminated land industry, initially starting as a Consultant with a national environmental consultancy, and most recently as a project manager at a national remediation contractor whose core business focused on oil spill response.

Ann Confrey, PR and Community Relations Consultant
A specialist in community consultation and liaison, Corporate Social Responsibility, Advice and strategy, Partnership working, Crisis and reputation management, Media relations, Social media and networking.
Ann came to Edinburgh in 2001 from Wigan in Greater Manchester. Having previously handled blue-chip client accounts for a marketing company in Warrington, served at Wigan Council for over 10 years initially as Information Development Manager within Leisure and Tourism Department then as Internal Communications Manager within Social Services Department.
Immediately prior to taking up her post at Proscot pr Ann managed community liaison and internal communications and providing organisational support for Exterior, part of the ISG Group involved in project management for the construction of the new Scottish Gas headquarters building developed by National Grid Property at The Forthquarter, a former gasworks site in Edinburgh.
Joining Proscot in 2003 Ann's experience and aptitude helped her to quickly work through the ranks to take the lead on key accounts such as;
Ann excels at issues management and stakeholder consultation in addition to providing valuable strategic direction, support and guidance to consultants and managers on a range of project accounts.
Following a year as Chief Executive with Proscot PR Ann took the option of buying out the partners and in September 2009 Proscot pr a more modern and vibrant consultancy was created.
